The Danish Chamber Orchestra and Adam Fischer are among the three finalists in the category Symphonic Music for an International Classical Music Award (ICMA) 2020 for their recording of Beethoven Complete Symphonies (Naxos). 19 independent music journalists from 14 countries have chosen 320 candidates for the prestigious award, which is presented in 16 categories. The winners will be announced in January. In 2015 the Danish Chamber Orchestra already won an ICMA for their recording of all Mozart Symphonies. Their Beethoven CD was published in the spring of 2019 and has received outstanding reviews from international music critics.
